Welcome to Eggumsbua!

Eggumsbua is a modern ”rorbu”(fisherman´s hut), build in 2008.

Downstairs you find the combined sittingroom and kitchen with every modern convenience, shower, wc and a bedroom with double bed. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with four sleeping accommodations. Eggumsbua has internet connection.
Eggumsbua stands in the harbour in Eggum, from the terrace you can look at the fishing boats and experience the fantastic midnight sun.

Eggum is situated between the mountains and the open sea and has beautiful nature areas with long curving seashores.
Just outside the village you find an area, which was made to nature-park in 2008. It is very popular to sit there to enjoy the spectacle of the midnight sun.

You can also walk to Eggum from Unnstad via a scenic coastal track. Along this track you will find the famos illusionary sculpture ”The Head” made by Markus Raetzs, a unique work of art. High in the sky the sea eagle soars and in meadows you find a fantastic rich flora.

Eggum is centrally located, making it possible to drive to almost any destination in Lofoten within a single day.
